College Hosts HOBY Ohio South Leadership Seminar

Marietta College hosted last summer the HOBY (Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership) Ohio South Leadership Seminar for high school students. The MC HOBY Task Force (pictured above) worked hard throughout the academic year to get the campus ready for this exciting event.
Founded in 1958, HOBY's mission is "to inspire and develop our global community of youth and volunteers to a life dedicated to leadership, service and innovation." About 180 high school students and 70 HOBY staff members are part of this three-day leadership development experience.
Gama Perruci, Dean of the McDonough Leadership Center, and Laurie McKain, Director of Auxiliary Services, co-chaired the MC HOBY Task Force.
