What We Do

We offer undergraduate students and faculty at Marietta College an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of leadership, practice their leadership skills, and in the process grow as engaged leaders on campus, in the community, and beyond.

Aside from its nationally recognized McDonough Leadership Program, the Center also offers initiatives in four key areas:

  • Civic Engagement (connecting students and faculty to the community through service-learning opportunities and community service projects, with a particular focus on the non-profit sector)
  • Business Leadership (connecting students and faculty to the for-profit sector with initiatives, such as the Executive-in-Residence and Visiting Executive programs)
  • International Leadership (connecting students and faculty to the world through study-abroad initiatives, international trips, cross-cultural communication, internships, and international service projects)
  • Research (connecting students and faculty to the scholarly field of Leadership Studies, through community-based research, capstone research projects, and undergraduate research conferences)
